Day four at Starship, overall progress is good. The initial diagnosis of a bacterial infection in her blood was confirmed and since then the blood cultures taken have been clear, which is very good. Breathing going very well. The chest x-ray showed a small amount of infection in her lungs, mostly on the right lung. Good news is that there was none on the lining outside her lung. Yesterday she was up and about, today has had excellent healing sleep.
The doctor has said it looks like a two week stay, to finish the course of antibiotics, pending the results of a heart ultrasound and a bone scan to see if the infection has lodged anywhere.
Still keeping up the good food, raw milk, vegetable juice, wheat grass, IVC, etc – Hospital not opposed to IVC administration – great news! Blood and chemistry results are improved from Friday.
Please pray for clear heart and bone scans, that the infection is already gone and over the next 12 days Kez bounces back to full health and gets sent home early! Please pray that the scans do not stimulate any tumor activity, and that the medication given helps and does not harm Kez during the treatment. Please also pray for wisdom for the doctors, and for complete breakthrough for Kez at this time.
