Latest diagnosis: (1) ‘Staphylococcus aureus’ (Staph) has been found in her lines, (2) she also has a chest infection causing a (3) possible Pneumonia, and quite possible it was started with the flu about 10 days ago. Prior to this she was in exceptional good health.
Doctors have put her onto oxygen and antibiotics to knock it on the head really quickly.
She is currently doing well, less aches and pains, temperature is now normal, has had a lot of rest and starting to be a little chirpier. Hesitant with smiles and giggles – definitely not happy about being back in hospital!
Please pray for 100% healing, also for protection against antibiotic side effects including hearing loss and kidney damage – and that this doesn’t compromise her Hickman IV line. Also for docs to make good decisions, focusing on Kezi having a great future (They’re a bit distracted by past and currently unconnected tumour issues…). And for God’s beautiful presence in the ward. Much love.
