Paihia Surprise

Its been over a month since our last update and we have had a very busy time.  There was excitement in the family as we ventured to Paihia for a week’s holiday – our first proper family holiday with relaxing and fun – and without any hospitals or clinic visits! The kids got to spend heaps of time with Grandma and Grandpa as they stayed in the unit next door!

Kezia has been full of energy, life and enthusiasm over the past month, she has enjoyed fun with friends, hanging with Nanna, and plenty of exercise.  Her appetite is increasing and she is continuing to grow taller and put on a little weight.

Vitamin C at home has been going very well.  It has been four weeks since visiting the clinic; we went today and now our next appointment is in 8 weeks.  We are very happy about this progress.

Home school has been going well with regular ‘activity’ times and the Northern Health School has confirmed they will be sending out a teacher for Kezia for individual teaching.

Blessings our way

We are so happy to report that we have been blessed with the use of a people-mover.  Yep. due to a random set of circumstances we have been given the use of a Toyota Estima seven seater – it came through just in time for our trip to Paihia and is brilliant for taking the whole family, including grandparents.  Awesome to see an answer to our prayers!

Financially we have been blessed.  Firstly we want to thank the families and individuals that have provided regular and one-off gifts to Kezia.  These have always come at the perfect time and we pray that you are blessed in return.  All the gifts have been able to go toward providing for Kezia directly.  We are so thankful!

Prayer requests

Continued prayer for complete and total healing ‘without the smell of smoke’, we would like a clear sign that Kezia is completely healed.  Kezia sporadically has pains in legs and abdomen, we are not sure what it is, possibly growing pains, but we would like to see these gone so she has perfect health.  Now and again there are disruptions in the night and we know that good sleep begets good health; please pray for perfect nights’ sleep at our house. We would like continued prayer for wisdom and discernment about what to do with Kezia moving forward, we have had a challenging time over the past year or so, and would like clarity in this area.  Finances are always being stretched and we would like some breakthrough in this area. Please pray for doors to be opened.
